Kyoto Obubu Tea Farms is an agricultural social enterprise dedicated to sharing Japanese tea culture while contributing to society. The program is designed for those passionate about tea who want to deepen their knowledge and experience.

Participants gain hands-on insight into tea production from leaf to cup, while learning brewing techniques, preparation, and basic tea chemistry. You’ll work alongside Japanese staff, farmers, and the local community, experiencing authentic daily life and culture.

Activities vary with the seasons and may include farming, tea processing, packing, and hosting tea tours. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute your own skills through projects, with ongoing guidance and support from the Obubu team.
